How are you guys?

We all know that how important exfoliation is for our skin, but we often ignore exfoliating our body. Most of the time we are concentrating on our face and we ignore our body. 

So, I thought of sharing this easy DIY body scrub which you can make it in less than five minutes.

I personally love this body scrub as it is easy to made and doesn't make a hole in your pocket.

Also, I am getting married soon, so just thought of starting this series called Bridal Beauty Series. I will share all my skincare, hair care, and makeup updates under this series.

For now, let's just start with this DIY body scrub.

Ingredients:

• Coffee Powder
   
• Brown Sugar
  
• Olive Oil or Coconut oil
  

Method of preparation:

Mix a 3-4 tbsp of grounded coffee powder to 2-3 tbsp of brown sugar. Pour some olive oil or coconut oil to this mixture and mix it well. 

Make sure there is no lump. Once the coffee and brown sugar is soaked well in the oil, your body scrub is ready.

How to Use:

Take a handful amount of the scrub and apply this to the wet skin. Then exfoliate using small circular motion.

This will not only remove the dead cells but also remove cellulite and gives your body a healthy glow.

I use this scrub once in a week, mostly during my weekend.

|| DIY || DEEP CONDITIONING HAIR MASK ||

Hello, You beautiful out there!
Past few months, my hair is behaving weirdly. It is dry, frizzy and all sorts of hair problem once can have. I have really lazy and careless towards them and getting the result back in form of unmanageable hair strands.

Today I am going to share this deep conditioning hair mask, which I have used in the past quite a several times, and the results were satisfactory.

While writing this post, I am actually applying this mask into my hairs.

Ingredients:

• PALMER'S COCONUT OIL DEEP CONDITIONING PROTEIN PACK. You can use normal coconut oil also, but since I am having literally the worst hair from out of the whole world, I am using this protein pack. You can get this on Nykaa.
  
  
  
  
  
• The second ingredient, you will need is Honey. I am taking around 2 to 3 tablespoon of honey.
  
• The third ingredient, which I am using here is Aloe vera Gel. I am taking 2-3 tablespoon of this.
  

HOW TO APPLY:

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and bring it to a consistency which is neither too solid nor too liquidy.

After that, take a 1-inch section of your hair and apply this mask from root to tip. Repeat the same on your entire hair.

Keep it for overnight and then wash it off with shampoo followed with a little conditioner.

You will instantly see a difference in the texture of your hair.

Korean beauty regimen has been all over. They are the talk of the town for quite a long time. Today I am going to review the Innisfree Bija Trouble Skin which is a toner or you can call it as an astringent also. I am using this toner for a long time and I thought of sharing my views on this particular one with you guys.
 Firstly I was not clear about the word 'bija'. After a little bit of research, I came to know that bija seeds are a special kind of ingredient which can be used after 20 years of survival in wilds. They have the amazing soothing property which I totally agree.

Packaging:
The product comes with the sturdy packaging. The bottle is not fragile and all the details about the product are provided on it. 

Price:
This is priced at INR 1100 for 200ml. 

Availability:
This is available online on  Nykaa Website.

Ingredients:
The main ingredients are Water and Alcohol.
All the ingredients are written on the outer packaging as well as on the product container also.

My Experience :

First thing first, this really calms down the irritated skin. I mean when I started using this, I was having a lot of active acne. Obviously, the product didn't do the wonder in one night. Yes, but I have seen a visible reduction in my acne scars and the texture of my skin is improved.

What I Like:

• The toner in spite of having alcohol doesn't dry the skin.
• Soothes the irritated skin.
• Visibly reduces the acne marks.
• Brightens up the skin.
• Visible results in the texture of skin with regular uses.
• Gentle on the skin.

What I dislike:

• Although it claims, it reduces the pore size but I couldn't see any difference in my pores.
• Little Expensive.
• Not Travel-Friendly.

|| SKINCARE SUMMER HACKS || PART 1 ||

A Big Helloooooooooooooo to all.
How are you? I was not at all active here for 2 months and I am really feeling so guilty about it. So, summers are around the corner and as it is said "Prevention is better than the cure.", So let's brace yourself with that before it starts hitting us.
I am going to list down few hacks here which I try to follow as much as I can. 

• Starting with the world known and the most important hack, keep yourself hydrated. If you can't drink water much use other substitutes like coconut water, watermelon juice and have those fruits which contain high water concentrate. Trust me, it will reflect on your skin.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• I am a huge fan of using green tea in my skincare and hair care regimen. Use homemade green tea facial mist. Read more about it here. It will help in soothing any allergy because of heat.
  
• Make aloe vera gel your best friend. You can use the natural pulp as well as the gel available in Market. I use the Patanjali one.
  
• Sunscreen !! Baby !! Sunscreen. Am I supposed to say the importance of the sunscreen on your skin regimen? Always apply a good amount of sunscreen on your whole body. And if you stay out most of the time, try to reapply it after 3 hours.
  
• Exfoliate your skin at least once a week depending on your skin type. I love to use homemade DIY scrubs and they are quite helpful in removing the dead skin, dullness, and blackheads. Try these DIY face masks || here || here || here || here ||.

|| DIY FACE MASK|| GLOWING SKIN ||

How are you? So the wedding season is around the corner and all we want a beautiful and glowing skin. But we can't achieve this in one day, its an investment. Taking care of the skin in a proper way and giving it a proper care really helps you a lot in achieving that beautiful, glowing skin. And if you apply a face mask consistently and according to your skin type will help you a lot in achieving your healthy skin goal. 

Applying a face mask not only improve your appearance but this is also a great relaxation therapy at the comfort of your own space.

In this post, I am going to share a face mask which I totally rely on before any big day. I apply this face mask before hitting the bed and I found a natural glow on my skin.

Let's dive into the Ingredients of this mask:

• KHADI NATURALS NEEM TULSI herbal face pack. Get it here.
• KHADI NATURALS sandalwood herbal face pack. Get it here.
• Banjaras Kasturi Turmeric Powder.Get it here.
• Rose Water. Get it here.
  

How to Make:

• Take a clean glass bowl, and take one tbsp KHADI NATURALS NEEM TULSI herbal face pack into it.
  
• Then take one tbsp KHADI NATURALS sandalwood herbal face pack and put it in the same bowl.
  
• Take a pinch of turmeric powder and be careful with it otherwise, it will leave a stain.
  
• Then add the required amount of rose water to make it a paste.
  

How to Apply:

• Wash your face and then pat it dry.
• Apply the pack evenly on to your face and to your neck
• Let it dry and then wash it off with lukewarm water and followed by cold water.
  

Apply this mask just the night before if you need to wear makeup. As it has Kasturi Turmeric, which is a great antibacterial ingredient which kills all the bacteria which leads to acne, pimple, and other infection.
The sandalwood powder helps in calming and relaxing the skin and it also helps in brightening up the skin.
The Neem and Tulsi powder is great when it comes to keeping the skin problem at bay.

How are you? Winter is right here and I am not a winter person at all. During winter, cold biting wind, steamy showers can cause lack of moisture in our skin. Winter creates a unique set of skin care concerns. So I thought of putting down few of my skincare essential for winter here which I swear by. It may help you make your closet winter proof.

The first rule applied to all of us is that invest in a good moisturizer no matter what skin type you have. Even if you have oily skin, you need to moisturize your skin. I have acne prone skin, so I totally swear by La Roche Posay Effacalar Duo (+) Acne Treatment Cream. I cannot explain how much difference it made to my skin. This one is priced at RS 1300 and is available on Nykaa and also in medical and beauty stores.

Other options are :

  

• Sebamed Clear Face Care Gel PH 5.5. This is priced at Rs. 500, you can find it on Nykaa.
  
• Plum E-Luminance Deep Moisturizing Cream. This is priced at Rs. 575 and your can get this on Nykaa.
  
• Plum Hello Aloe Caring Day Moisturizer. This is priced at Rs. 470 and you can get this on Nykaa.
  
• Innisfree Green Tea Moisture Cream. This is priced at Rs. 1300 and you can get it on Nykaa.
  

After moisturizing, please don't skip Sunscreen. Yes! you need to apply sunscreen 365 days of the year. Currently, I am loving Plum Green Tea Clear-As-Day Sunscreen Gel SPF25 | PA+. This is priced at Rs. 520 and your can get it on plumgoodness.

The other options are which I have used in past are ;

• Neutrogena UltraSheer Dry-Touch Sunblock  SPF 50+. This is priced at Rs. 199 and get it here.
  
• Aroma Magic Sunblock Lotion SPF ++ 30 UVA/UVB. This is priced at Rs. 180 and you can get this on Nykaa.
  

The next thing is to work on your lips. Yes, chapped lips are the most common problem during winters. I am currently obsessed with The Kama Ayurveda Rose Lip Balm. This small little pot does miracles. This is priced at Rs. 525 and you can get this on Nykaa.

• Natio Lip Balm. It does have SPF too. I have a detailed review of this. Check it here.
  
• Nivea Original Care Lip Balm. This is priced at Rs. 130 and you will get this on Nykaa. This one is easily available offline also.

During winters, exfoliation is equally important because let's accept the truth, we all become lazy and are in love with our blankets. So no one wills to stand to shiver and play with cold water. So exfoliating your skin once in a while helps in get rid of dry skin cells and blemishes. Those who follow this space they know how much I am obsessed with organic and natural skin care products. And with this note, let's welcome a new addition to my search which is from the brand called Tatchi_Naturals.
Recently, I collaborated with them and they sent me few of their stuff and Sandal Rose Anti Tan Moisturizing Scrub is one of them. I have used the most of this product. And I must admit, this product is just insane. 

About the Brand:
Tatchi_Naturals is a Chennai Based Brand. It is a 100% organic brand but yet very affordable. They have a wide range of products varying from face care to skin care to hair care and what not. They also have food products.

Price:

 The scrub is priced at RS.145  for 50gm of product which a so affordable for a product like this.

Once you open the packet, you have to use the product within one month.

 They come in a brown paper ziplock Bags with all the details written on it. They are travel-friendly.

My experience:

  I am using this scrub every alternate day. This scrub removes the tan as well as it removes the dirt and impurities so nicely. I use this scrub mostly for my night care routine and I just mix this with green tea or curd or rose water then just massage it nicely on my face and neck. It just removes all the dirt, makeup traces, and rejuvenates the skin. It gives a luxurious feeling, so a thumbs up for this and a must have for that lovely pampering session. I have an acne prone skin but I didn't break out after using this, so another thumbs up for being an acne friendly product. After using this, my skin feels so soft and it immediately gives a glow. 

Overall, this is an amazing product with really amazing ingredients. I am definitely going to try their other products. I hope this review will help you and please give this product a try.
