VLCC Sweat Free Sun Block Lotion Review

Hello Beauties!!! Welcome to BeautyInSoul!!! We all know that how important role a sunscreen play for a beautiful skin. And as summer is upon us so wearing a sunscreen on your skin is so damn important. In this post I am going to review a sunscreen from VLCC. VLCC has a wide range of sunscreens. So for this summer I bought their Sweat Free Sun Block Lotion SPF 40| PA+++.

Packaging: The packaging is as usual to the VLCC packaging in the color yellow orange and white. But the tube is not so user friendly. As you open the cover the product will come out briskly resulting in lot of wastage of product. The product is kind of liquid form, it would be much better if they provide a packaging with pump.

Ingredients: All the ingredients are mentioned on the back of the tube.

Price: It is available for Rs.340 for 100gms. And you can always find amazing deals. Thanks To Online Shopping Era :-) :-)
My Experience : As the product claims that its sweat free and all natural, I went ahead and buy it. But this product didn't worked for me.

  1. The product is neither in form of lotion nor in form of cream, So it is really tough to blend.
  2. It feels really heavy on my face after applying.
  3. My skin becomes really oily and greasy instantly which makes me really pissed off.
  4. The sweat free doesn't work for me atleast. And I started sweating also after few minutes.

Pros:
  1. Affordable
  2. Easily Available
  3. SPF 40| PA+++
Cons:
  1. Doesn't stand by the sweat free thing
  2. Greasy
  3. Might clogs pores also
  4. Heavy On skin
  5. Not Good for Normal as  well as Oily Skin.
Would I Repurchase It: No because I am having a combinational skin.

This product is good for the people having dry skin but its a big no no for people having other skin types.

So this is all from my side. Hope this will be helpful for you all. So till then Bbbbyeee and be in touch with BeautyInSoul. Do comment in the comment section which sunscreen you are using this summer.

Hello Beauties!! Welcome to BeautyInSoul!!! As we all know that the wonder of curd is not restricted to soothing our bowl system and helps in digestion but it also do wonders if used as beauty recipes in our daily skin care regimen. So, in this post I am going to share few beauty recipes using curd which I use in my skin care regimen.

To use curd as a cleanser: To use curd as a cleanser mix a tablespoon of whipped curd and fuller's earth i.e. multani mitti and few drops of almond oil. Mix this well and apply on your face and massage gently for 1-2 minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

To use curd as an exfoliator :  Take  2 tablespoon of gramflour i.e. besan and a pinch of turmeric and few drops of lemon juice.
Again mix 2 tablespoon of whipped curd or yoghurt to this.
Then mix it well. Make sure there should be no lumps in the mixture. The final paste should be like this  as shown in the picture
Apply this mixture all over your face and neck and let it dry for some time. Once it is semi dried, exfoliate gently and wash it off with cold water. This is really good for tan removal also.

To use curd as a toner:
Take a spoon of whipped curd and few drops of olive oil and mix it well.
Apply this on your face and massage in circular motion for good 4-5 minutes. Wipe it off with a tissue.

To use curd as a moisturizer:
Take a spoon of whipped curd and take 1 spoon of honey into the same bowl. Mix it well until the mixture has a thick and jelly sort of consistency.

The final paste should be like this.

Now apply this on your face and massage gently for good 5-10 minutes and wash it off with cold water. And You are ready to go with soft and supple skin

The second product is a sample for Nyassa Tea Tree Face Wash. The full size product retails for Rs.400 for 145ml.Well I love products having tea tree extracts. This face wash is good. It will be useful when I will be travelling because it is small and handy.

EveryDay Casual Look For Summers

Hello Beauties!! Welcome to BeautyInSoul!!!  So as the summers are on we all love to carry a fresh, dewy, and minimal makeup look in our day to day life. I personally love makeup. I love the confidence which makeup gives me by enhancing my look. I never use makeup for hiding my flaws.

So before applying makeup I always follow the CTM routine and apply sunscreen. The first thing which I highly recommend to use as the first step while applying makeup is using a Primer. I am using Nivea Sensitive Post Shave Balm. This works really good as a primer and after reading so many reviews I started using it as a primer.

Then I use my Foundation from Avon and Concealer from Lolipop. I got this concealer in my April's fab bag. After that I used L'Oreal Paris Mat Magique All-In-One Pressed Powder in the shade G2 i.e Golden Ivory to set my concealer. Then I used Maybelline Hyper glossy eyeliner in the shade navy blue following with Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara. I use Maybelline Gel Eyeliner as kajal and it is fabulous. And I complete my look with Maybelline bold matte in the shade MAT1. So much of Maybelline but they really have wide range of options for makeup lovers and also it is not heavy on your pocket as well.

The final look come like so.

I wanted to keep the look simple so I didn't use any eye shadow or blush or bronzer. I wore a light pastel color top and blue denim paired with an animal printed belly shoe and a cool tote bag.

So this was the overall look I got. Do comment below what you like most. Stay in touch with BeautyInSoul for more exciting posts. Till then bbbyeee!!!

GreenTea: A bliss for Skin & Hair

Hello Friends, welcome to Dazzling Bellezza!!! I am a huge fan of using natural ingredients as home remedies in your beauty regimen. They heal your skin from inside and they are easily available, affordable and you can totally rely on these methods completely. You just need to be little bit observant that what suits you. Like papaya doesn't suits my skin at all. So
just be a little bit careful and you are welcome to a lifetime of healthy skin.

So, today in this post I am going to share a few ideas about green tea on the beauty side apart from the health side as we all know how beneficial it is for our health. And the good part is that you don't need to spend a huge amount to buy  expensive green tea beauty products.  You can easily make concentrated green tea extract at home and use it as an additional armor in your daily beauty and health routine.

The first thing which I love to do is simply smearing the green tea bag on my face after making the green tea when the tea bag is cooled down or its a little bit warm. You can also use these bags for relaxing your eyes, simply put on the bags on your eyelids for 10 minutes and relax.

The second thing which I like to do is giving my hair a final rinse with the green tea.
  •      Take a bowl and 2-3 green tea bags
  •      Prepare the green tea as per your hair length and mix it with extra water to cool it down.
  •      Give your hair a final rinse with this water after shampoo and conditioner.
And you will definitely notice the change in the texture in your hair strands.

The third thing which I do often is simply taking some prepared green tea and massaging my scalp with it before shampoo.

The fourth way in which I use green tea bags after having it is using it as a scrub.
  •   Take the green tea bag after preparing the green tea and cut it down
  •   Take half a tablespoon of baking soda and mix them well
  •   Take few drops of water and apply the paste all over your face and neck
  •   Let it dry for few minutes and exfoliate and wash off with cold water

The fifth way in which I use green tea bags after preparing the tea as a face pack.
  •  Take the green tea bag after preparing the green tea and cut it down
  •  Take 2 tablespoon of honey and mix them well.
  • Apply the paste all over face and neck and keep it for 20 minutes
  • Wash your face with cold water

You can also use lemon drop with the above face pack if you like.

The sixth way I use green tea is as a toner and believe me friends you will feel the difference.
  • Prepare the green tea and let it cool down
  • The put the mixture in a spray bottle and keep that is fridge
  • Apply it daily two times in your CTM routine with the help of cotton.
  • Make new batch of it after 6-7 days.

These tips are for all skin types. So take care of your body , your skin and yourself because its the only place you have to live. Till then follow these steps and don't forget to sip atleast one cup of green tea daily. Till the next post, take care and be in touch with beautyinsoul. And please do comment below how you like to use green tea in your lifestyle and what change it bring inside you.
