|| SKIN CARE PRODUCTS || UNDER RS 500 ||

Hello Muffins!!

How are you?? I hope you all are enjoying the Durga Puja. In the past I have posted about few skin care products which are under INR 500 but still works great. Then in between, I found few more so i thought of list it down for you guys. I believe that the price tag of any thing doesn't decide the goodness of that product. Here are the few more added to the previous list:

• The first product is a face scrub from a brand called Jovees. This is there Jojoba & Neem Face Scrub. Well I picked up this product in a rush, but when I started using this,  this works wonder for sensitive skin. It is gel based formula, so it does not strip off the the necessary oil. It does the job of basic cleaning and it is not at all harsh on the skin. This one is priced at INR 185. You can get this Nykaa as well as it is easily available at beauty stores also.
  

• The next product is The Face Shop Damyang Bamboo Fresh Soothing Gel. This is my holy grail product. This is a great product when it comes to sensitive and irritated skin. All you have to do just slather a thick layer on the affected area and leave it over night. This retails for INR 390 and this is available on Nykaa.
  

• The next product is KHADI NATURALS SANDAL WOOD POWDER. (Check My SKIN CARE HAUL || KHADI NATURALS ). I was looking for a good sandalwood powder and after looking here and there I decided to give it a try and I must say I am so amused with the result. I ordered it from KHADI Naturals Website itself. The price for this one is Rs 190 .
  

• The next product is BIOTIQUE BIO ALMOND OIL soothing Face & Eye Makeup Cleanser. Sleeping without removing your makeup is a sin for your skin. I buy this in a rush because i forget to carry my makeup remover with me. And ever since i get this I am in inseparable relationship with this one. This one is priced is just INR 175. I got this from Health & Glow Store. You can get it online from Nykaa.
  

• Adding One more Khadi Naturals product to this list and this is Khadi Naturals Mint & Cucumber Face Mist. Face Mist are such a relief during summer and I wanted to try it since a very long time so finally got my hands down on it. Its so travel friendly and a staple for those days when your skin feels dehydrated. 
  

• The next product is Aloe Veda Face Wash - Lavender & Tea Tree Oil. This is a very gentle & Mild Face Wash and a great option for every day use. This is a good choice for acne prone and sensitive skin. And this is priced at just  INR 110.You can get this one online from Nykaa.
  

• So this one is one of those product which has been a talk of town since the day it came  in the market. The Plum Green Tea Clear Face Mask is one of those product which you should have in your beauty regimen. I got this recently and I cannot tell you how much I love this product. I will review this soon in a separate post. This is priced at INR 490. And you can get them from Nykaa as well as PlumGoodness.

|| BASIC FACIAL CLEANUP || CLEAN UP STEPS || AT HOME ||

Happy Navratri to you all. I wish Ma Durga brings all happiness into your life. The festive season of India has began. And we all have to attend a lot of parties, puja's , get together, Diwali parties. In between these chaos we all have to look perfect. A regular face cleanup just add a bit more in our perfect look because if your skin is radiannt and dewy, any kind of makeup will enhance your feature. So today, we will discuss the basic steps of cleanup and how we can do it at home. I will also include links for DIYS for every step.

• CLEANSING:

The very first important part of this process is cleaning your face. Most of us do not give much attention to this part and we are always in a turmoil that whats wrong with our products and why its not working. I always do my cleansing in two steps:
                                         1.Oil Cleansing:

There are lot of oil based cleanser available in market. Before washing my face with a regular face wash I like to use BIOTIQUE BIO ALMOND OIL SOOTHING FACE AND EYE MAKEUP REMOVER which is so freaking good. Just take few drops on to your palm and gently massage it well on to your face. If you don't have this, simply use Olive Oil. Olive oil just do what is required.

                                     
                                      2.After the oil cleansing, just wash your face with a mild cleanser. You can use PLUM HELLO ALOE SKIN LOVING FACE WASH. This is very gentle and mild face wash for any kind of skin. If you have acne prone skin you can use this DIY face wash for acne prone skin. You can also use honey and lemon mixture as a face cleanser.

• STEAMING

Many of us skip this step while doing our cleanup. Steaming is really important for our skin. Not only it open up the pores, it also helps in removing the dead cells and releasing the gunk which cause breakouts. It also removes trapped makeup. You can steam your face using facial steamer which are easily available in market. You can also use a bowl full of hot water and bending your face over it and you can take the steam.

• EXFOLIATION

Exfoliation is one of the most important aspects of the skincare regimen. It just shed all the dead cells and dirt all clogged up in our pores. Exfoliation helps in reducing blackheads and whiteheads. It also helps in increasing blood circulation and thus bringing a nice glow on the face. For exfoliation, you can use Neutrogena deep clean  Blackhead Eliminating daily Scrub. This is a very mild scrub which is great for sensitive skin also. If you want to go all natural , you can use this DIY Face Scrub or Mask. You can also mix green tea and honey , and use it as a scrub which is my personal favorite.(Check the other benefits of  GreenTea: A bliss for Skin & Hair). You  can also use CoffeeCinnamonScrubCumFacePack(DIY).

• FACE PACK

Face packs helps in treating acne, pimples, removing dead cells, bringing glow to your face pack.  They provide a relaxing and soothing effect to the face. You can use any face pack according to your skin type.You can incorporate SHEET MASKS if you don't find time for messy one. I mostly use homemade face packs which are great for skin and they work so well with me.You can use following face masks as per your choice.

• MOISTURIZING

Last but not the least, moisturizing is very very important. You can use any good moisturizer or just slather Aloevera Gel on to your face.

|| DIY || FACE MASK FOR DULL SKIN ||

Hello Gorgeous!!

How you guys have been? I am writing something after a very long time because of my health issues. I took this break to get more active on my blog. Meanwhile , because of my health issues and hormonal disorder, my skin has been on a rolar coaster ride. And those who are a regular follower of mine they must be knowing that how much I love to include homemade, natural DIY masks, toners, in my skin care regimen. So today I am going to share a new DIY homemade face mask which is rejuvenating and instantly bring the glow to your face. 

So, for this face masks you will need ingredients which are listed below:

• Orange Peel Powder. Buy it Here
• Fuller's Earth Powder ( Multani Mitti). Buy it Here.
• Honey. Buy it Here.
• Aloe vera Gel. Buy it Here
• Rose Water. Buy it Here
• Tomato Juice
  

How to Make:

• Take a clean bowl and mix one tbsp of orange peel powder and Fuller's Earth Powder.
  

• Then mix one tbsp of honey. I am using Dabur Honey . With that I will also add Tomato Juice.
  

• Then add half a tbsp of Aloevera gel.
  

• Then mix all the above ingredients and mix Rose Water to make a smooth paste.
  

I forgot to click the pic of final paste which i get after mixing all of this. :-( :-( . Make a nice and smooth paste.

Application:

     

    Clean your face and neck and then apply this face mask evenly on your face and neck avoiding the eye and mouth area. Let it dry and then wash your face and whola!! Beautiful skin.
