Hello, Muffins!!

Hope you all are doing great! So being a Bangalorean, I have always a problem of dry and rough body skin, and yes no matter which body lotion I used the result didn't stay for longer period of time especially on my feet. Recently, I came across this Brand BLISS BOTANICALS, while scrolling through my Facebook feed. Being an obsessed person with natural and organic skincare products this has to smell my presence. Trust me guys, their body butter is BOMB.COM. After using them for good 10 days I am really fascinated by the result, so they definitely deserve a review post.

My experience:

Well, after using this for good two weeks, I can see the difference between my skin. My elbow and feet are quite soft and I can see there is no flakiness on my skin. I also used it after shaving for intense moisturization. These come in three different variants. What I like most about these body butter that they haven't any kind of color preservative. Look wise they all look same but they can be differentiated from their smell. Yes! They smell incredible. Texture wise, they have a thick consistency which a body butter should have.They come in three different variants i.e. BLISS BOTANICALS ROSE GERANIUM & BERGAMOT, BLISS BOTANICALS LAVENDER & YLANG YLANG BODY BUTTER and BLISS BOTANICALS PEPPERMINT & TEA TREE BODY BUTTER. Lavender & Ylang Ylang one is my personal favorite. I use this body butter before hitting my bed and I can see that when I woke up my skin remain soft and there is no dryness. All you need to rub the product little bit between your fingers so that the skin can completely be soaked in. 

Altogether, I love the product and this is really gonna to be a staple in my skin care products.
You guys need to check this out once. 
I am really looking forward to more products from this brand in future because they are so honest with the ingredients. It will be a great experience to use their products for another skin purpose also.

How are you? In my last post || MUST HAVE MAKEUP PRODUCTS || FESTIVE SEASON || , I talked about all the basic face makeup products. So eye makeup is my favourite part of the makeup. This is the the canvas where you can paint your whole world. I mean you have never have enough shades of eye shadows and you are always looking for that perfect smudge free darkest black  kajal pencil. For me, eye makeup is an entirely different world to me. So without being biased towards my love towards eye makeup, I will list down the one product in each category. 

• Eyebrow Pencil:Eyebrows on fleek, this is my basic mantra to any kind of eye makeup look. And if you are a beginner you don't need to go to brow wax or brow pomade because lets talk real, they creates mess if you don't have that proper grip and you don't know how to do your brows. So, I love Maybelline New York Fashion Brow Duo Shaper. This one retails for Rs 300. You can get this on Nykaa.
  

• Eye shadows: Well, in this category, you have a lot of options to experiment because you can never ever have enough shades. But when it comes to one palette for festive season is Maybelline New York the 24K Nudes Palette.You can get this on Nykaa. This is priced at Rs 925. The shades are awesome and can be used for multipurpose.
  

• Eyeliner : Hands down to my favourite eyeliner Nykaa Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner-Super Black 01. The tip of the wand is sturdy and perfect to create the winged eyeliner or any kind of eyeliner look you want to experiment. This one retails for Rs 299 and you can get this on Nykaa.
  

• Kajal Pencil: Being an India Girl, Kajal is the utmost favourite makeup product of mine. If you are not comfortable with eyeliners and eye shadows, just apply some kajal on your waterline and smudge it, you are ready to rock the party. • Mascara: Last but not the least, Mascara!! A huge shout out to all those who cannot do without Mascara. And when it comes to Mascara, it has to be Maybelline. I love all the Maybelline Mascaras but my absolute favourite is Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Mascara. This is priced at Rs 525 and this is also available on Nykaa.

The festive vibe is going all around. This is my favourite time of the year. Although I stay away from my family , so I can't celebrate this with them. But the festive vibe, preparations, cleaning everything just make me happy and yes! How can I forget to get ready for the Diwali's party. I am not a pro with Makeup, but earlier my makeup was limited to kajal and a tinted lip balm. But now , its never enough. So I thought of shortlisting few essential makeup products which are affordable and fulfill the purpose as well. Here in this post I will go with Face Products, and in the next post I will list down the eye products.

• Makeup Primer: Never ever start your makeup without applying a primer. There are lot of options available for Primer in the market. My personal favorite is L'Oreal  Paris Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer, which is easily available offline as well as online. It is priced at Rs.1000. You can get this from Nykaa. 
  

• Colour Corrector : Most of us skip this step, but if you are looking for a long lasting and smooth makeup, include this step in your makeup regimen.Being an Indian, lot of us have uneven skin tone so a colour corrector is a must. My personal favourites are from LA GIRL. For us , I guess an orange and a green colour corrector is enough. Orange one for the dark circles and green one for the redness of skin. They are easily available on Nykaa priced at Rs. 595. I got mine from an Instagram Page @adore_makeup16.
  

• Foundation: So after the colour correction we need to apply foundation. My personal favourite is Maybelline Fit Me Range. They are super affordable, gives you medium coverage and you can build up with applying one more layer. They are available in variety of shades. They are priced at Rs.525 and you can get them stores as well as Nykaa.
  

• Concealers: Again in concealers, my favourite is Maybelline Fit Me concealer and LA Girl Pro Conceal HD. They gives you nice coverage as well as they are easily blend able.I like to mix these both two and then apply. They are also available online. LA Girl is priced as Rs 535 and you can get them on Nykaa  and Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is priced at Rs.500. You can find them on Nykaa.
  
  
  
  

• Compact Powder: Compact Powder is a must for setting your conceal as well as to give touch up. My absolute favourite is L'Oreal Base Magique . This retails for Rs.450, super affordable, has SPF and stays for a longer period of time. You can get this on Nykaa.
  

• Contour,Blush,Highlight: For this purpose my go to palette is Makeup Revolution Iconic Blush Bronze and Brighten Palette. I have a detailed review on this which you can check here. 
  

• Makeup Fixing Spray: A makeup fixing spray is must if you want that your makeup should stay longer. I use my DIY makeup fixing spray which works for me so well. I have a detailed post on this , you can check it here.

Those who all are reading my post from a long time, they must be knowing how much I am obsessed with incorporating green tea in my skin care regimen. I am always digging in for new ideas , new experiments to use green tea apart from drinking it which I rarely do. The face mask which I am going to share with you is something which gives instant glow, and rejuvenates your skin from the first application.

Ingredients:

• Green Tea.
  
• Khadi Naturals Neem Tulsi Powder.
  
• The Face Shop  Damyang Bamboo Gel.
  

If you don't have Bamboo Gel you can use aloevera gel also.

How to Make:

• In a clean bowl, empty one green tea bag.
  
• Then add 1 tbsp of Khadi Natural Neem Basil Powder.
• Then add sufficient amount of Bamboo Gel.
• Mix these into a gel like consistency paste but make sure it should not be too watery.
  

                                               

How to apply:

• First Clean your face and get steam because steaming will open up the pores.
• Then apply this mask evenly everywhere on the face leaving the eye area and let it dry for 15 minutes.
• Then massage gently and take it off.
• After that wash your face and apply ice cubes to close the pores.

You can also apply this DIY Green Tea Toner.

All the ingredients used in this mask have different kind of benefit for skin. Green tea is rich with anti oxidants and anti inflammatory properties. Neem and Basil Powder are great to kill any kind of bacteria which causes acne and pimples. Bamboo Gel soothes and calm down your irritated and tired skin.

Since now you all must be knowing how much I love using green tea in my skin care regimen. We all are aware of the fact that green tea has a lot of antioxidants and anti inflammatory properties which makes it a staple for precarious skin. And I break out a lot, my skin is sensitive and being a couch potato sometimes I became insensitive towards my skin. So for those days I really wanted to try somethings which is safe as well as effective. My hunt stopped at PLUM GREEN TEA CLEAR FACE MASK. Its a clay mask which is specially formulated for combinational, acne prone skin.

About the Brand:

 Plum is vegan brand which says " no to parabens, phthalates,propylene, glycol, sodium lauryal sulphate (SLS) , DEA , PABA & animal derived ingredients". They have a wide range of skin care products for every skin type. 

What PLUM GREEN TEA CLEAR FACE MASK SAYS?

 Oxidation of skin -produced sebum leads to acne. Green Tea extracts are known anti-oxidants clays absorb excess oil and weed out dead skin, helped by glycolic acid.

This comes in carton pack in color green and white. The Mask come in a heavy bottomed transparent glass tub with white cover.

My Experience:

I have an acne prone skin as well as too sensitive skin. I breakout like anything if i eat chocolate, if i do dusting or if I travel. As per the instruction you need to use this mask once a week. After 2-3 application I can notice the difference. It soothes down the active acne and also I can see that my skin is cleared and smooth. My pores are less visible. Being a clay mask, it really calm down my irritated skin at times. Texture wise, it is smooth and fine. It's consistency is perfect so its not messy while applying. It takes 20-30 minutes to dry after that just wash it off with cool water. While applying it may give a tingling effect, but that is not going to harm your skin. Overall I am quite satisfied with this pick.

PROS:

• Easily Washable
• Minimize the pores
• Helps in calming down the skin redness
• Leaves skin clear, smooth and matte
• Do not irritate active acne

CONS:

There is no spatula to apply as the mask come in tub. 

The best way to get maximum benefit from this mask, is to steam your face first and then apply the mask.
